We started Evergreen because we love Christmas

Not the commercial version of it. The real one.

The smell of a fresh tree in the house. The cold air on your face when you walk a field. The moment a child points to the one they want and absolutely will not be talked out of it. Warm cocoa, a crackling bonfire, a wagon ride that ends in a wreath under your arm.

That's what we were trying to build. A place that makes Christmas feel the way it's supposed to.

We're a small family operation, the Baucoms and the Kemps, working together to make this place what it is. It takes all of us.

The land has its own story

Before this was a Christmas tree farm, it was a field at rest. We pulled it out of a federal conservation program, prepared it for trees, and started planting. That was a few years ago. This spring, we expanded to six acres.

The trees going in the ground today won't be ready for Christmas for several more years. That kind of patience is what farming asks of you, and we've come to love it.

Where things stand right now

Our trees are young. The pre-cut trees you'll choose from this November were grown by other farmers and brought in so we can offer you a full, high-quality selection while our own fields mature. We're honest about that.

What we can promise you is this: every detail of the experience has been designed with intention. The farm, the food, the shoppette, the staff, the lights at dusk. We're not trying to be the biggest farm. We're trying to be the one your family comes back to.

We hope to see you this November.
